Rovers Weakest In Midfield

Rovers Weakest In Midfield

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll, suggested by IsraeliRover asked your opinion on "Which area is Blackburn's weakest?" The midfield is the weakness.

It is commonly believed that central midfield is the area most Rovers fans would like strengthened, and when asked which was the weakest, unsurprisingly with more than half the vote, 59% in fact this is what is regarded as that.

Next up with 25% were the full-backs, so again no surprises there, although I would suggest that the right-back area in particular (even though personally I don't think it is that bad) would be the key side?

Somewhat surprisingly the actual squad depth itself was next on the list, 10% thinking that maybe it isn't strong enough to cope with some injuries or suspensions?

To complete the poll, VERY unsurprisingly Goalkeeping (2%), central defence (0%), wings (2%) and attack (2%) were all very low, if they registered at all

So in summary
Goalkeeping - 2%
Full-backs - 25%
CD - 0%
Wings - 2%
CM - 59%
Attack - 2%
Squad depth - 10%

We now start this season's first search for a Player of the Month, this is for August. We start this by focusing on the Goalkeeper/Defenders, so the current poll, suggested by The Rovers Players is asking, "Defender/Keeper of the Month for August?"

PLEASE NOTE: The positional votes are going to be quick fire 24-hour ones so get your votes in quick!

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findingsā€¦

I don't think we have that much to worry about when it comes to the centre, not with Dunny performing the way he is and Reidy due to return.
