Hughes Confident Of UEFA Cup Place

Blackburn Rovers take on MyPa in the Second leg of the Second Round of UEFA Cup Qualification on Thursday Evening, and manager Mark Hughes is confident Rovers can progress.

Rovers take a 1-0 lead to Ewood Park from the First, into the Second leg against MyPa and Hughes is expecting nothing less than a professional performance, which should be more than enough to complete the job. While Hughes is (as always) wary of his opponents he feels Rovers will have too much for their Finnish opponents, so they will complete the job and take a place in the UEFA Cup proper.

Hughes told the Official Blackburn Rovers Website: "We can't afford to be complacent. It is only one goal and it only takes one opportunity to get back on level terms.

"So we have got to be really professional, which we always are, and get the job done.

"The UEFA Cup is a competition we want to do well in. We want to keep on progressing, so we will make sure that we go into the game with a team and a mentality to ensure we progress."

'I just think getting them (MyPa) back to Ewood on the big open spaces will allow us to pick them off
."

The tickets for the game and again amazingly priced, as adult Season Ticket holders, senior citizens and young adult Season Ticket holders have to pay just £5, juniors pay just £1, and adult Non-Season Ticket holders only £10.

Rovers WILL have enough to see off MyPa, the approach will as always bee completely professional.
As for the ticket pricing, ONE AGAIN Rovers deserve a MASSIVE pat on the back, as these prices are superb!

The prices should ensure they get bums on seats and hopefully fire in a few goals to give the crowds something to cheer!!

i was gonna go to this game but i have to work. i think we will grab a few more goals this time 3-4 nil to us. is this game on tv?? channel 5 ??
Simon Garner Legend
yer it is on channel 5, hopefully youth will get a chance Rigters and Derbyshire up front, treacy and sergio on the wings, like to see that happen, and kizanishvill at the back with ooijer they survived well last season especially in the uefa cup so they can do it. Feel a bit sorry for those two did a lot for us last season.

Had Rovers been well in control I think that Treacy, and some others might have played, but as it is with no chances being taken, I'm not so sure they will now. Ensuring there are no slip ups will be Sparky's priority.
Hughes Da Man
As long as we stay confident but dont let it turn into complacent we will progress...
