NO ONE Will Do The Double Over BRFC

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll, suggested by Hughes Da Man asked, "Will anyone do the double over Blackburn this season?" Simply answer NO!!!

33% believe that NO ONE will be able to do the double over Rovers this season. Of course Rovers WILL lose to teams at Ewood Park and away from it (no one is foolish enough to think others wise!!!), but the general opinion is that they will not lose to a team in both the home and away fixture.

IF Rovers were to lose both fixtures against an opponent then it is most likely to happen against Chelsea, with 23% voting them the most fancied side to do this, into second place in the poll.

A different team all together with the "other" option (17%) and Manchester United (16%) could not really be split, with Arsenal next in line with 7%. The team least likely out of all the option would be Liverpool; only 4% think they can run out victorious over Rovers at both Ewood and Anfield.

So in summary
Yes, Arsenal - 7%
Yes, Chelsea - 23%
Yes, Liverpool - 4%
Yes, Manchester United - 16%
Yes, Other - 17%
No, NO ONE will do the double over Rovers - 33%

The subject has already been looked at (where Rovers will finish, but it was more in terms of placing, and what this will achieve as opposed to actual placement) but now a more defined League position is wanted clarifying, so the current poll, suggested by KevDP4L is asking, "Where will Blackburn finish this season?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

I GENUINLEY think that Rovers are good enough to prevent ANY side (no matter who they are) from beating them home and away. If I had to pick out any side, they would be Chelsea.
Rovers WILL lose to teams (such as those in this poll) but WILL not lose both the home and away match, and I would put money on that!!!
Hughes Da Man
I think you could surprise some people this season - everyone knows you are UEFA cup team, but Ewood is one of those places where I genuinely worry about us (Chelsea) going to - always a very, very tough game. Good luck for the new season fellas.
OLASAL
Hey nice comment their chelsea fan, i hope chelsea beat Man Utd to the title this season never liked Man Utd, yeah i think we could be doing the double over some of these big teams. Find out Arsenal at Home going to be a cracker i reckon, got a very good chance.
roverjoy
I think you'll do Arsenal - you are one of those teams they just cannot play against. Stick Savage on Fabregas and see them wilt - Also think you've signed a cult hero of a player in Santa Cruz - cant score goals for toffee but is just this dumb, brave battering ram of a player - holds the ball up so well and cares so much about the team he always looks like he is about to burst into tears.
OLASAL
OLASAL, thanks for coming on here with some positive comments, makes a refreshing change to hear opposing fans being complementary. However, I feel a couple of sides will double us this season. Chelsea are a sticky team for us but I'm hoping for a bit of luck against them this term. United look brill so they will be tough!
roversman
West Ham will do the double over us...
Decimus Poole
They had their luck over us last term, in fact enough to last a couple of seasons. Still reeling about them being given a goal they never scored. Think it is all part of a giant brown paper bag scam from the FA to keep them in the league. How many rules must they break before they are properly punished?!?!?
roversman
OLASAL - Nice one dude. The respect between Chelsea and Rovers reached an all time high for me last season (and not JUST after the praise we got for the FA Cup match) due to Vital Football!!!
Hughes Da Man
There are teams that COULD do the double over Rovers but I genuinely think they will do well to do so.
ONLY Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manure SHOULD be allowed to leave Ewood Park with three points (and this is NOT a given for any of them!!!) I would not expect Rovers to win at ANY of their own grounds, but we still could, and HAVE in the not to distant past!!!
Hughes Da Man
Rovers at home is a game that no-one goes into lightly, even the big four!! Folk will say that Rovers shouldnt beat the top 4 away from Ewood but as they say - football is a funny game - and as Rovers will beat and lose to teams that they probably will be expected to beat at Ewood then so will the top 4 lose games at home that they maybe weren't supposed to. With the money being spent in league then I'd expect some almightly upsets this season.
Clint
I do think we are being a little biased here lads... personally I would of plumped for Chelsea or Man U... as I think we ahve an excellent chance of beating Arsenal at Ewood.
MikeyGamst
We will see won't we Mikey, although I honestly do try my VERY best to see things without the blue and while tint.
Hughes Da Man
So do I sometimes but you know... we just can't help ourselves sometimes.
MikeyGamst
We forgot to mention Spurs... oh dear how can we forget about the "New Barcelona?!?!?!"
MikeyGamst
I'd LOVE to do the double over the Spuds I tell you that, I will dine off that FOREVER!!!
Hughes Da Man
not meaning to be negative but somebody always does the double over us, i think it will be one of those seasons where a club like Everton or Newcastle will as Newcastle always seem to beat us at home, then we get a narrow victory away, but theyve a much stronger team this time, unless we can beat them at ewood for once.
