Adda Djeziri Set For Rovers Move?

After training with Blackburn Rovers in a recent trial capacity it is looking as though Rovers are preparing an offer of a contract to Adda Djeziri to see him stay with the club?

The 18-year old winger (who can also play up front), is currently contracted to Danish side Frem (the team Rovers signed goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen from) is understood to have impressed Mark Hughes and the coaching staff at Ewood Park during his recent trial, and the Danish star could now be set for a move to Rovers (according to skysports.com)

Although there is Algerian decent in his family, he is a Danish national, and is HIGHLY rated and WOULD have signed for Glasgow Rangers last season had Paul Le Guen not left Ibrox when he had. Djeziri has spent several months of last season on loan with Rangers, but a change of management saw the deal fall through, with Rovers now looking like taking advantage.

Frem's Sporting Director Hans Hermansen told skysports.com:

"I think he has done well and it looks good at the moment

"We will be having further talks this week, but we are expecting a yes or no soon.

"Two months ago we sold Gunnar to Blackburn and it would be nice for them both if Adda also went there.

"We are always happy to help our good young players move on, once they have reached the level that they can no longer progress at
."

Personally I know as much about him now, as I did when he arrived on trial (which isn't a lot!!!) but if Sparky is impressed with him, he WILL snap him up, and that will be good enough for me.

Yeah Sparky will know what to do, wasn't he good at rangers though, but "In sparky we trust"

With Bentley & Pedersen to look up to, lets hope he learns alot from them and becomes one of the best Scandanavian footballers since... well, Pedersen himself. Even if he doesn't turn out to be good, it can never hurt to add more youth players to the squad anyway.

Well at least he will keep our wingers honest i guess, but we should rather be spending time in defence as samba will be of to the african nations cup. Central midfield might cause us a problem with a few injury prone players. Bresciano has been linked with Man City, could be interesting, i rate him just as highly as grella lol

Left / RIGHT WINGER?

Samba's country is very unlikely that they will qualify for the African Nations so thats not really an issue. IR, from what ive read and understood, he can play both and up front also.

I reckon in 3 years time we will have signed the Faroe Islands XI.... lol

Christ on a bike I hope not (no disrespect to the mighty Faroe's following both Rovers and this site have LOL!!!)
