Rovers Season Tickets Sales Up 10%

Blackburn Rovers' decision to reward the fans and invest some of the Television money to reduce Season Ticket prices has paid dividends with sales up 10%!!!

£1 million of the extra money, from the record amount clubs will receive from this seasons Television deal was re-invested to the fans to enable the club to reduce ticket prices (with the cheapest £249, and even the MOST expensive a mere £399!!!) and Rovers can claim the smallest amount as the LOWEST amount in the Premier League!!!

Simon Williams told the Official Blackburn Rovers Website:

"Our new price structure takes into account the concerns of supporters about cost while doing our best to remain competitive on the pitch.

"We have been very encouraged by the sales of season tickets so far with our first home game still a few weeks away
."

This is GREAT news isn't it, some would say it was a gamble to do this but it is the Rovers way (and we KNOW this!) and it has paid off!!!

Yeah great, but even with 10% more are they making more money than last season with the big price drops. Worth it though, getting a better atmosphere at Ewood is the key, it is what we have been lacking kind of,come on Rovers!!!

The football Rovers play DESERVES a bigger crowd, 10% can soon turn into 20%, then 40% etc. etc. so long as the players perform on the pitch. Recent years have proven Rovers don't neccessarily NEED a big crowd to perform, but no one can doubt it helps, so these extras in the crowd could make a lot of difference, which will see crowds rise even more.
