Rovers Chasing Cup Success Tonight

Blackburn Rovers are tonight chasing Cup success against rivals Bolton Wanderers, albeit with the reserves.

Glyn Hodges will this Evening (7:45pm kick-off at the FA's County Ground, Leyland) be hoping to guide his reserve side to Cup glory against Bolton, as the two sides meet in the Final on the Lancashire Senior Cup.

Victories over Blackpool and Oldham Athletic have seen Rovers make the Final, which should see a good mixture of talented youth (who will be hoping to challenge for the first team VERY soon) and fridge players from the first team squad on show.

Tickets are priced at £10 for Adults and £5 for all others.

A Cup is a Cup isn't it, Lancashire Senior Cup or not, and should Rovers bring this home it will give the youngsters coming through A LOT of confidence ahead of the season to come, and in some way should help EVERYONE connected to the club, as it starts the season off well!!! It SHOULD also give some of the fringe players a chance to again stake a claim for senior involvement.

Yeah hopefully will win should do if Gally, Jeffers, etc.. play, would be a good way to start the season, hopefully some silverware this season though for the first team.

Never really heard much about this cup before! Gally and Jeffers should definitely get a run out though. Nothing better than getting one over on your rivals, whatever the competition!
