UEFA Cup Via The League For Rovers

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll, suggested by Derbyshire4England asked, "Where will Blackburn finish this season?" A UEFA Cup place is the target!!!

Overwhelmingly more than half that voted (52%) believe that Rovers will do enough to finish in a top five, or maybe top six (which could be good enough depending on how the Cup Competitions go this season? Even seventh, as it was last season might be good enough?!?!) thus gaining a UEFA Cup place via the League at the end of the 2007-2008 season.

INCREDIBLY 16% voted that Rovers would in actual fact do well to even stay in the Premiership this season, YEAH RIGHT!!! With this followed closely by a seventh - twelfth place finish (14%). However, with such an amount believing Rovers might be relegated an equally as unlikely thing (well, more so) would be Rovers WINNING the Title, as 11% voted for.

4% are looking at a Champions League Qualification place, with the final 3% going for mid-table mediocrity bordering on a relegation battle with a thirteenth - seventh place finish.

So in summary
Win the Premiership - 11%
Champions League - 4%
UEFA Cup - 52%
7-12 - 14%
13-17 - 3%
Relegated - 16%

With Roque Santa Cruz completing his move to Ewood Park, this will add pressure on some already on the fringes, and undoubtedly create speculation surrounding the more high profile names, so the current poll, suggested by Hughes Da Man is asking, "With Roque Santa Cruz signing who (if anyone) do you think will leave?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

Who the ***** was voting for relegation?!?! Whoever they were are complete *****ers!!!
Rovers are not to good to go down (as we know!!!) but there is more chance of me actually playing for Rovers and scoring a hat trick again Manure at Old Trafford this season as there is Rovers going down!!!
Although, at the same time it is more likely that I will score that hat trick at Old Trafford to send Manure down in the process, as it is Rovers winning the Title this season!!!
The UEFA Cup battle via the League will be a much contested one with SO many teams in the hunt, but the togetherness this squad has gives us the edge I think over others that could get in. They don't have the bond that this team does, which is mostly several years together as a unit now isn't it.

we r impoving all the time and at least intertoto again this season.

Relegation?!??! I dont wanna sound arrogant but oh my god... what a load of sh**e.... I think the winner of the poll is the most likely option... hence I voted for it ;)

I'll be honest, early on I thought about voting 7th-12th as A LOT of teams are going to be pushing this season, but then I thought about the reasons I mentioned about (above Rovers having a basically settled squad, whereas others don't!) so it made me even more confident a UEFA Cup place could be gained via the League. It is not arrogant at all dude, it is ******** rediculous that people could have even voted for Rovers to be relegated (all the biased opinion in the world aside!!!)

Have to say you do look a Top Ten side at the very least!
