Rovers Win Convincingly

On Wednesday I had published an article reminding people not to forget the reserve game that night. Having done so I could hardly not follow this up!!!

A strong side (including regular first team performers Zurab Khizanishvili, Sergio Peter, Paul Gallagher and Francis Jeffers, even if they are not regular starters, along with several other youngsters that are part of the first team squad, or close to it) went to Bamber Bridge and won 4-0.

Gallagher scored twice (one a Tugay-esque strike!!!) with Jeffers also on the score sheet, so this will not only do their confidence a world of good but after what sounded like good performances also may well help their chances of first team action this season?!?!

The reserves are a much, much greater step back from competitive first team action but it helps, and should Glyn Hodges give players (and not just Gallagher and Jeffers) good reports (as it sounds like he might) it will help their claims for more involvement (or fresh involvement for some) this season, which will only benefit Rovers with greater competition for places.

Did anyone actually manage to see anything of this game by any chance? If so what was it like?
Gally's second goal sounds a bit special doesn't it. Either way, it is another good run out for him and many players who WOULD expect to feature in the first team for Rovers.
One slightly concerning thing was the fact Sergio Peter picked up an injury didn't he, I'm not sure how bad it is though?

Off Topic, but who are the ******** idiots voting on the poll?!?! Rovers to be RELEGATED, what a bunch off *****ers!!!
Hughes Da Man
HDM- can people vote more than once? (not that I want to do it- but is it possible?)
IsraeliRover
The Gallagher issue is quite complicated. He does show a bit of brilliance- but never in the PL but through the reserves. We had many talented players throughout the years- the diff' is who could deliever in the minutes he got....
IsraeliRover
He needs to play more me thinks... who is voting for relegated on that poll?!!! morons...
MikeyGamst
I think Gallagher has great talant and is good cover for the squad.

IsraeliRover - You can vote repeatidly, but I would hope people din't vote over, and over, and over again.
MketGamst - I completely agree dude, he can't be judged on five or ten minutes here or there can he, he needs a run of games, but I just worry he will not get them?!?!
The relegation vote is STILL high but it is going down, *****ers!!!
