Vital Blackburn's most recent poll, suggested by im_a_blackburn_rover asked, "Where will Benni McCarthy be come the start of the new campaign?" I'll tell you where, Ewood Park!!!
We are certainly not lacking belief that Benni McCarthy will start the 2007-2008 season with Rovers, despite some reported interest from Newcastle United earlier in the week, constant links with Chelsea over the summer and Benni himself constantly saying that playing for a team that could offer him Champions League Football would be something he would prefer.
Things have gone quiet on the whole on the Benni front so the 88% that believe he will still be here when the season kicks off are almost certainly right. I just wish he would come out and say something positive now, and not a halfhearted statement basically covering himself (as he did a few weeks back.)
10% still think he could start the season with Chelsea, with the remaining 2% split 1% each between Newcastle and somewhere else completely different.
So in summary
Blackburn - 88%
Chelsea - 10%
Newcastle - 1%
Other - 1%
There is the potential within the current Rovers squad to see some of our players play for England VERY soon, so the current poll, suggested by Derbyshire4England is asking, "Who will be the next Blackburn player in the senior England team?"
As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

Aye, if Sparky digs his heels in, they stay dug in until he is ready to release them!!!
God, I'm glad that we didn't get Mido!!! You are right though, Sparky spent AGES chasing him, and this is what cost us signing others players we needed, but I still think this is Mido's and not Sparky's fault.
