Vital Blackburn's most recent poll, inspired by Clint, suggested by the VBers (Vital Blackburners) asked, "Best Rovers starting midfield four?" Pedersen, Savage, Reid & Bentley are this favoured four.
With well over half of the vote (60% to be exact) the return from injuries of Robbie Savage and Steven Reid (from an even longer setback than Savage) leaves us believing that Morten Gamst Pedersen, Robbie Savage, Steven Reid & David Bentley should be the way we go.
Despite age being against him 21% still think that the midfield should be as above but minus Reidy with Tugay coming in instead.
12% would like a different combination altogether (but I ask WHO would this be?!?!) with the final 7% wanting Pedersen, Sav, Bentley and someone else, but again quite who this would be I am not sure,?!?! Probably David Dunn or a new signing I would guess.
So in summary
Pedersen, Savage, Reid & Bentley - 60%
Pedersen, Savage, Tugay & Bentley - 21%
Pedersen, Savage, A.N OTHER & Bentley - 7%
Completely different combination - 12%
We could look at the forwards (and still might) but I think this will be pretty clear which way we go, so for now we will skip this and look at something else. However, we will stay on the forward theme by focusing on Benni McCarthy, and where his future might be, if indeed it is away from Ewood Park? So the current poll, suggested by im_a_blackburn_rover is asking, "Where will Benni McCarthy be come the start of the new campaign?"
As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

So I am with the 60% that voted MPG, Sav, Reidy & Bents, as my personal opinion is that MGP, Sav and Bents pick themselves, if Reidy can prove his fitness (and stay fit) so will he.
