Rovers Reject Roberts Bid

Blackburn Rovers have rejected a £2.5 million bid from Fulham for Jason Roberts.

Roberts is alleged in the highly unbiased London based media to be considering his future at Ewood Park as he ponders a move to London because of personal reasons.

Rovers have rejected the bid out of hand as they look to keep hold of Roberts after he impressed at the back end of last term.

A couple of things always spring to mind when they make a claim that Roberts wants to move....

1) Why does he always look so happy when clips are shown of him training at Brockhall?

2) Why is he always urging Benni to stay if he wants to go himself!??!!?

In my eyes Roberts should come out and put the rumours to bed.

P.s. I know the fearless HDM covered this i brief in another article but I thought I;d share my 2 cents... if thats ok with everyone else?!?!?

NO it is not OK Mikey, your fired!!! Nah, seriously of course it was fine dude, you make MORE than a few good points.
JR DOESN'T want to leave deos he, so why are the media trying to unsettle him?!?! Not everyone wants to keep him but we HAVE to end of.

If Roberts does want a move to London its not going to be with Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs, it'll be Fulham or Charlton or even West " buy up every player there is " Ham!! so why would u move!! Fulham are gong to hoof the ball long ball to the strikers and West Ham are offcially the koke of the league, no matter who they buy to change this! Charlton dont even start me on this one!! Roberts should stay at Rovers where with Europe he can progress as a player under the guidance of Hughes

I'm very pleased we rejected this. I like Roberts, he's strong and bustling and a pain in the a%se for defences when he's on song. I like the partnership he's got with McCarthy too, they seem to complement each other well enough as they did at the end of the season. Damn, I'm looking forward to the new season. We're gonna rock. With Reid and Savage fit, God, the Wall, Warnock McCarthy, Bentley et al. Assuming we keep them all, of course...And that new Rigters bloke...Oh, and Derbyshire. It just gets better...I can't wait.

The future is bright...the future is indeed blue and white!!!

I think we should allow him to leave. I really want to see Bellamy return and genuinely think that we would need Roberts with McCarthy, Bellamy, Derbyshire an Rigters and with De Vita coming through we have enough options. And of course Fowler's imminent arrival.....

I genuine believe letting him go would be a MASSIVE mistake, do I REALLY hope we keep him.
De Vita is a kid I'm REALLY looking forward to start come through soon, he's a great talent.

Oh my god, im shocked... I thought I was gone!!! Letting go of him would be criminal.

We seem to be part of a dying bread MikeyGamst, more seem to want him out than want him to stay!!! WHY?!?!
