£15Million For Benni Is Fair

Vital Blackburn`s most recent poll, suggested by Vbers asked, "How much would we accept for Benni if he were to leave?" The winning selection was £10-£15million.

This would seem like a reasonable figure (although I`m sure Arsenal fans would dispute this) for the player considering everything. However, it was surprising to see that only 23% of us thought he shouldn`t be sold. Maybe he has offended a few with some of his comments!

So in summary
Less than £5million - 4%
Between £5-£10million - 5%
Between £10-£15million - 35%
£15+million - 33%
Not for sale at all! - 23%

As the search for the Greatest Ever Rovers Starting XI continues, we select two midfielders from the four in the squad, so the current poll is asking, "Greatest Ever Rovers XI - Central Midfield (Top two get in!) " Make your votes count, but vote WISELY!

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

I think this is a fair figure for Benni. More is unrealistic, perhaps even £15million is a tad on the generous side. However, once all is said and done and I would hope he decides to stay and keep scoring for Rovers.

benni is a good player , he settled into english football very quickly , hope you keep him or you'll end up getting bellamy back.

£15Million is steep (yep, I'm a gooner). I want him at Arsenal, I think he'd fit in well. I'll give you a fiver, a packet of prawn cocktail, half a pack of gum and half a can of stella?
simmy8_2000
Ok look, I'm a fair guy so I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll throw in say Almunia on loan. :P
simmy8_2000
Ohh good offer. How about a full can of fosters and Flamini instead though (I think Almunia is too much to ask for)?!?!?
roversman
Get stuffed Skimmy. Typical gooner, think they can do watvwver they want. Sure, benni is 29, he aint getting any younger, but you tell me what other 20 goal strikers are in the premiership. 3 or 4 at max. Hence his price goes up, benni also has a few years in his contract, so if he goes, il tell u something, it wont be cheap

Have you seen that there are rumours that Wigan want to swap Camera for Savage. Silly season again?? Hughesy would never let Savage go, although I do rate Camera.
Wellsy
Benni finished 2nd top scorer in what everybody these days refers as the best league in the world, so he is definately worth around £15million if not more. Arsenal should have held out for a lot more for Henry and they WOULD have got it!

Wellsy- Savage is great but is 33....I'd go for that idea...

Almunia!??!? He isnt fit to come anywhere near Brad's gloves. I was one of the peeps who wanted Benni to stay and I stand by that.

As far as Camara goes I am suprised he is not mentioned more.. good pace, great skill and can score... whats the harm??? 2-3 million I would reckon??? DONT SELL SAVAGE THOUGH!
MikeyGamst
Benni - Arsenal? why? he wants to go somewhere were he'll win things! apart from that he he generally stays on his feet!
