What's the Difference?!?!

What's the Difference?!?!

Technically I am on my holidays but I couldn't let my man sasman down who submitted this article to me, so I've momentarily cut off my break to get his views published.

My brother was having a read of the Vital Chelsea site, and to my disappointment he came across a thread, which I was rather disappointed at. Whilst they are not there to please us, the blatant hypocrisy is evident.

David Bentley has been criticised for pulling out of the Euro Under-21's Cup. Whilst everyone is entitled to there opinion, people should look into there own backyard before talking!

A certain John Obi Mikel has pulled out of the African Nations Cup Qualifiers due to a calf injury. The Nigerians are outraged, threatening to ban the midfielder from ever representing the country. I wonder how the Chelsea club feels about this? I'm sure they are devastated that one of the best rising talents could miss the African Nations Cup.

I feel I can speak openly about this due to not being English or Nigerian. Fair has to be fair, and hypocrisy is ridiculous.

Whilst we built a good relationship with Merlin and our fellow Vital Chelsea members after the epic semi final clash, I personally feel this is just another case of the bigger clubs wanting things their way. At the end of the day, who is the real loser? It's the player himself.

Personally I've lost all touch with what is going on around me (and this isn't just a diplomatic response so I can sit on the fence!) as I've pretty much cut myself off from things so don't know much about what this situation is but as I say I couldn't let my man sasman down so momentarily broke off my vacation so I could share his thoughts with you all!!!
Enjoy the debate guys Mr Hughes Da Man is leaving the building (again, LOL!)

LOL thanks very much HDM, i just think its a joke how poor bentley cops all this criticism, yet the chelsea guys can even realise the similarities

A very good point of view sasman. When speaking to my dad about the whole bentley thing, one of the first utterances made revolved around the Ryan Giggs situation. He would regularly pull out of friendlies and little was made of it other than a few mild disputes. Evidence indeed that the big clubs get let off!

Mikel fakes injury to rest, Bentley claims tired... very similar. Just one being a lot more honest.

You've called this wrong lads! Mikel has a genuine injury! He's not just tired! Never mind, I hope the bond we've developed remains undamaged!
