What's the Difference?!?!
Technically I am on my holidays but I couldn't let my man sasman down who submitted this article to me, so I've momentarily cut off my break to get his views published.
My brother was having a read of the Vital Chelsea site, and to my disappointment he came across a thread, which I was rather disappointed at. Whilst they are not there to please us, the blatant hypocrisy is evident.
David Bentley has been criticised for pulling out of the Euro Under-21's Cup. Whilst everyone is entitled to there opinion, people should look into there own backyard before talking!
A certain John Obi Mikel has pulled out of the African Nations Cup Qualifiers due to a calf injury. The Nigerians are outraged, threatening to ban the midfielder from ever representing the country. I wonder how the Chelsea club feels about this? I'm sure they are devastated that one of the best rising talents could miss the African Nations Cup.
I feel I can speak openly about this due to not being English or Nigerian. Fair has to be fair, and hypocrisy is ridiculous.
Whilst we built a good relationship with Merlin and our fellow Vital Chelsea members after the epic semi final clash, I personally feel this is just another case of the bigger clubs wanting things their way. At the end of the day, who is the real loser? It's the player himself.
