Benni Rather Than Bellamy

Vital Blackburn's most recent poll, suggested by KevDP4L asked, "Who would you most want to see at Blackburn next season Bellamy or McCarthy?" Quite convincingly Benni McCarthy is the favoured man.

When given the simple choice to answer who you would rather have at Rovers next season if it were down to you, current Rovers striker Benni McCarthy is favoured quite heavily over a former Rovers striker, Craig Bellamy (who could return?) 67% to 33%.

You would think that at least one will be with Rovers next season, but in light of recent talk coming from Chelsea (which may "unsettle" Benni) and news of possible interested from Italy in Bellamy it is quite possible that in actual fact NEITHER could play at Ewood Park next season (well not for Rovers anyway?!?!)

So in summary
Craig Bellamy - 33%
Benni McCarthy - 67%

The current poll suggested by sasman continues the striker theme and asks, "Who do You want at Blackburn next season?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

I would rather have Benni at Rovers over Bellers if I were honest, and would probably prefer not to have both at the same time! (Obviously if this happens, which I don't think it will, I wouldn't be angered by it though.)
The JR and Benni partnership (with Derbs as well!) has MASSIVE potential too, not sure a Bellers and Benni one would have the same affect!?!?

If we get both then fair enuff, if Benni leaves and Bellemy dosnt come back then fair enuff, no-one is bigger than the club!! To answer the question though id rather have Benni, should he want to stay that is. Roberts and Matty have potential, we haven't signed that waste of space Nonda yet, at the min we look kinda short upfront wot with one rumour or another!
Clint
I would like both!!! Or is that just me being greedy???
MikeyGamst
I still think that if Sparky thinks Shabani Nonda is the right man for Rovers, then he is just that, the right man for Rovers!
Hughes Da Man
MikeyGamst - It is not being greedy dude, but I keep having my doubts about having both. One or the other would be superb, both I am not sure about. But hey who would I be to question Sparky LOL!
Hughes Da Man
Nonda ios a donkey plain and simple! There must be a better player out there for £2m!! Even add some more and get someone but he did nothing to convince me that he should stay. a couple of good games is just not enuff sorry. I do think that a deal would have been done for Nonda at this time if Hughes was convinced, I think he'll wait to see wot money he has after any takeover to make his decision. Nonda could have been - ' well its all we could afford or get in ' buy, now or sorry possibly in the future we can look to more consistant players ( I was going to say better there )
Clint
£2 million should bag you Robbie Earnshaw... surely better than Nonda????
MikeyGamst
Sorry HDM I disagree - i'd rather have Bellars - if he wants to come back we'll get more out of him... Benni has already expressed his interest to move away... because we aren't good enough to get into Champs League! Plus Craig will chase more balls than Benni, I think he is a better finisher too!
Ex Ewood Resident
Have you heard that comment by Jose today that Spurs will cahllenge for title next year with big 4.... oh dear, I can see their heads growing even more!!!!
MikeyGamst
What Title is that Mikey? the wind up Title, concede most goals in the top half Title, but score the most too Title, Fair Play Title? WHAT the Premiership Title, oh of course but thats a gimme it's BOUND to happen!!!
Hughes Da Man
Ex Ewood Resident - Fair play dude.
Hughes Da Man
I dont reckon Earnshaw would be better than Nonda both are over rated
Clint
At least Earnshaw has another 10 years in him
