Rovers Facing Easy Bellamy Battle!!!

Rovers Facing Easy Bellamy Battle!!!

Blackburn Rovers look as though they will have an easier task in convincing Craig Bellamy to return to Rovers! We only have to overcome minnows Juventus and Roma (if reports are true!) as well as other Premiership clubs.

It is probably one of the worst kept secrets around that Rovers boss Mark Hughes would like to bring Bellamy back to Ewood Park this summer. Despite Bellers saying he is happy to stay at Liverpool, and even with a big fat price tag (and MUCH inflated price tag at that for me!) hung round his neck he is likely to leave Anfield.

Most people seem to be split on their opinion as to whether or not they would like Bellers back at Ewood (the current poll shows that given the choice between Bellers and Benni McCarthy there is only one winner!) but most remain confident that if the price is right he will come back to possibly play alongside the South African?

If the news that Juve and Roma are also interested in signing the Welsh International is true then Rovers will have an even bigger task (even with the chance of extra funds available) on their hands to bring the player back from Liverpool this summer?!?!

Rovers or Juventus/Roma only one winner isn't there!!! Rovers of course LOL! As good as Bellers is these teams won't seriously go after him will they?!?! The Hammered could be the team for him (if he is motivated by money, not that I am convinced he is though!)

hmmm, perhaps its a good think if we don't get hiim as his price tag is way to high for a 29 year old

I would say that Bellers isn't 29, off the top of my head closer to your figure roversman of 27.
My opinion is that I am not sure Bellers and Benni could work together (I would be more than happy to be proved wrong of course!) and WOULD rather have Benni given the choice. The costs of Bellers also worry me £6 million is more than fair for me, £8 million MAX.

Almost 28 then, so he's virtually split the difference.

Bellemy is a good player but no1 is debaiting that but i dont see why juv/roma want him, rafa cant get the best out of him and nether could souness, the only man hu can is sparky, so theres no point him going to italy, id rather get some1 else younger for the price liverpool are asking.

Yeah I would agree with that I think dude. (welcome to the article side of Vital Blackburn, you've already been welcomed in the Forum side!) Although even the age thing isn't a factor for me, just the fact that £6 million (in my opinion) is enough, £8 million more than enough.

What we do offer in advantage to the other clubs is first team football. Where alse could he be virtually guaranteed a start.
