Midfielder of the Season
With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2006-2007 season.
The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2006-2007 continue to be dished out with the
The Tugay Award for Midfielder of the Season
When asked to simply leave the name of your Midfielder of the Season most felt…
David Bentley should be the Award Winner! So congratulations to Bentley.
This was a unanimous decision, although there was only EVER likely to be one winner here and this winner was Bents. I will (as promised) give an honorary mention to Tugay (although technically he had this anyway with the Award named after him!)
The consistency of Bents had been unbelievable, he performed to SUCH a high level over and over it was unreal. His delivery was pretty much spot on EVERYTIME, even if those arriving weren't quite on the same wavelength.
I still genuinely believe that if there had been a better (and more consistent) right-midfielder/winger in England last season (Englishman I must add) then I didn't see him.
