Hughes NO To Manchester City

The last couple of days have again seen Manchester City linked with Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes, this will NEVER happen.

With Man City failing to attract the Managerial targets they have been after, the suggestions are they are again looking to Hughes (as they had been rumoured to a few weeks back) but they will get a resounding NO in reply!

Major question marks hang over Man City's own proposed takeover, but with one looking increasingly likely at Rovers (?!?!) this is even more reason for Sparky not to want to leave (not that he would have anyway!) as any such takeover here could give him extra funds to strengthen an already VERY solid squad we have.

It is little wonder Man City would like to have Sparky as boss (who wouldn't!) but it just aint gonna happen…

Souness is available guys, I'm sure Man City would love to have him lol! The day Sparky leaves Rovers for Man City will be the day I, well I don't know what?!?!

Wots going on at City at the min is a joke, just lost one of the better centrebacks - Distin, about to lose Barton, no manager, the takeover not about o happen, sure who in their rite minds would walk into that. No offense to City fans, the only team in Manchester after all, but its not looking hot at the min for City. Hughes is looking forward to exciting times at Rovers and being able to build on as HDM said an already solid team, the future is bright!

Barton has gone to Newcastle hasn't he? So he has also gone. Man City are one of these teams with huge potential but for whatever reason have failed to deliver for a hell of a long time. The ONLY thing that could appeal to Sparky would be the challenge, but even that is clutching at straws!
Hughes Da Man
I dont think Barton is at Newcastle just yet, maybe im wrong but I think City are arsing about on a £300,000 pay off, wot for u may said but I think thas rite. Hughes has his own challenge at Rovers dont forget, but I know wot u mean mate, taking a sleeping giant back to the top, well Rovers former league winners, could we get back to the top with this potential investment?? nice to dream aint it!!
Clint
Hughes will never go to Man City because i think he still wants the chance to manage Man Utd.
Matt_Us
Good luck to him as well when the time comes, it'll be hard to see him go but u cant deny the man his ambition and knowing the history between Hughes and Utd u couldnt not see him give it a go! It does depend on whether Utd think he's the rite for them at the time though, they may want a bigger international name
Clint
Matt_Us - It is one of the worst kept secrets in the gme that Sparky wants this, and he one say will. When he gets the chances he'll do VERY well.
Hughes Da Man
I think you are right matt_us... but he loves the club he is at too..... bring it on.
MikeyGamst
HDM / Matt_Us - United hold as much attraction to Sparky as do Chelsea and Barcelona... he has stated that he wants to manage the teams that he once played for... And yes he would probably love to go to OT and so would the fans welcome it... but anyone who takes over from SAF will have to be on the top of their game! Keano might just beat him to the job!
Ex Ewood Resident
Agreed dude, but I'm assuming Matt_Us is a Manure fan so wanted to keep it on that theme. Personally I do not think that Sparky will be the man next in line for the job (and this isn't just what I hope!) but he will be Manure boss down the line.
Hughes Da Man
He is a legend and clearly the Rovers boss for life..... ;)
MikeyGamst
HAHA, yeah lets pop over to eastlands where the boardroom is a wasteland, the playing staff has been decimated and the club is on its way to the fizzy pop league again, I bet Sparky fancies that challenge! I really hope that they can sort it out though, for the City fans if no one else.
BomBom
Good point BomBom, they do have a good set of fans don't they, so for that reason they deserve more. I can't see them going down next season no matter what happens though.
