Worst Moment of the Season

With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2006-2007 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2006-2007 continue to be dished out with the

Worst Moment of the Season

When asked to simply leave the moment, which you feel was the WORST Rovers Moment of the Season most felt…

Full time in the 0-0 draw Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Cup should be the Award Winner! So congratulations I guess go to Bayer Leverkusen for making one of their best moments of the season one of our worst!

With the First Leg of this UEFA Cup tie in Germany seeing us going down 3-2 (which was viewed as a good result, and rightly so) all that was needed was a Rovers goal. Surely that would come but try as we might we just couldn't take our chances and the game ended 0-0.

This game, or more to the point the moment when the final whistle went and the European dream was over has been viewed as our worst moment of the season, just ahead of Michael Ballack and his winning goal for Chelsea in our FA Cup Semi Final defeat.

Damn you Bayer Leverkusen!!! The moment when the full time whistle went and we "only" drew 0-0 still haunts me, although Ballack's FA Cup Semi Final winner has grown on me more and more through this process as we have gone along.

Bloody Krauts lol
BomBom
definately the Ballack goal for me. FA cup final would have guaranteed us europe as the game would have been against United who were in Champs. an FA cup final AN FA CUP FINAL, we missed out on it by that a hairs bredth. worst of the season for me by far.
AustRover
AustRover - it wasn't Ballack's goal, it was Ped's Miss!!!! right in front of us!!!! I knew then that it wasn't going to be our day. Still surely the worst moment was when Jim Devine turned up before the West Ham game.
Ex Ewood Resident
definitely Ballack's goal for me.... It broke my heart and despite the brave effort of the players it was too much to overcome.
MikeyGamst
Ex Ewood Resident - Is Jim Devine the referee or the assistant, or as BomBom said Igor or his Master?!?!
Hughes Da Man
Igor!
BomBom
Damn you Igor (and the Master for that matter lol!)
Hughes Da Man
"Yeth Mathter!"
BomBom
I'm sorry but I just had to write something, anyhting for the sake of it, as BomBom that was pure genius and as soon as I read it I creased up (I'm in tears as I type!) lol.
Hughes Da Man
