Blackburn Goal of the Month (May)

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked you, "What was May's top Goal?" A winner has been found.

Each month, you the Vital Blackburn members are given the chance to vote for what you thought was the goal of the month.

Sadly thanks to the FA and Premier League it looks as though YouTube are unable to show the goals anymore so it looks like it won't be possible to actually see the goals anymore, before or after voting!

The votes have been cast and after being given the option of all 6 of Rovers' goals for May you voted in favour of Matt Derbyshire, 72% deciding his strike on Sunday 13th against Reading at Ewood Park in the Premiership was the best.

So in summary
McCarthy vs. Newcastle (a) - 2%
Roberts vs. Newcastle (a) - 0%
McCarthy vs. Tottenham (a) - 20%
McCarthy vs. Reading (h) - 0%
Bentley vs. Reading (h) - 6%
Derbyshire vs. Reading (h) - 72%

With the season done and dusted, the current poll, suggested by sasman is asking How did you rate our season? Have your say by not only voting but voicing your opinion also.

Do you agree with the winning strike or not? Why not have your say below…

HDM's love child wins again!!!! TV camera dive for the goal was awesome!!!! Also his little child celebration is outstanding...
MikeyGamst
Yep.. can't fault the celebration. run along screaming like a maniac.. hero!
Bents4eng
He's not my love child, I'm not old enough for that he's my partner, much like Sav is yours Mikey :) lol! It was magic wasn't it, on the field seconds then he scores, Derbs is a hero indeed Bents4eng. The whole move was quality though as durks points out.
Hughes Da Man
Well Sav is quite attractive... ;) Anyone fancy going out with Tugay>!?!?!
MikeyGamst
Hi is the maestro but the rapidly increasing hair-loss isn't doing him too many (more lol!) favours :)
Hughes Da Man
He'll have a trademark Zurab bald patch before we know it?!?!?!?
MikeyGamst
lol.... I've always wondered if Robben is Tugay's illegitimate child... his hair is falling out quicker than the needles from a long-dead christmas tree!
Bents4eng
It's amazing with Robben isn't it, even as a 20-year-old his hair was pretty "fine" wasn't it. Robben has the skill and touch of Tugay, so it's possible, but I think Tugay would be ashamed of any son (illegitimate or not lol!) that fell as easily as he does quite often!
Hughes Da Man
Having said that doesnt Warnock look a bit like Tugay's son!???!
