Jansen To Start At Ewood

In a bizaare twist, Matt Jansen is set for his first start at Ewood this season. However it is not for Blackburn but Bolton.

Having become increasingly frustrated by his lack of first team opportunities at Rovers, it was decided by all parties on Tuesday that he could leave on a free. That decision could come to haunt Rovers as three days later he had agreed to join local and Premiership rivals Bolton untill the end of the season.

As Sam Alladyce has lost five players to the African Cup Of Nation, Jansen is expected to be drafted straight into the side to face Blackburn today.
