Our Season NEVER Ends!

Our Season NEVER Ends!

The 2006-2007 Premiership season may have ended on Sunday but the Vital Blackburn season NEVER ends, and we WILL keep going this summer.

Just because the Rovers action has finished for a few months on the field it doesn't mean it stops OFF it and it won't, with Vital Blackburn plodding on through thick and thin!

What do we have?

* We will continue our search for the Greatest Ever Rovers Squad.
* Convert this into a Greatest Ever Starting XI.
* Continue our search for the winners in the Vital Blackburn 2006-2007 Awards.
* We of course have David Bentley lining up for England B (hopefully) at the end of the month (then maybe a senior International friendly with Brazil to follow?) with Bents and Matt Derbyshire then probably both off to the under-21 Championships with England.
* An idea put to me by Clint will be run during the summer months (all will be revealed!)
* New ideas for Vital Blackburn next season will be shared, and suggestions for others sought from you.
* And OF COURSE there will be plenty of transfer rumour and activity for us to cover here and debate on the site, and in the forums.

I will personally be taking a short break from the site for a few weeks, most likely at the end of this week, but this short break only means I will not be posting as many articles as, although this isn't the hardest job in the World it is still time consuming and both physically and mentally draining, the last few weeks in particular.

HOWEVER, in my absence I am looking for your help, as I will be much more in the future! I would LOVE to see many of you covering any every day news stories surrounding Rovers being made that you want covered, or have an opinion on, so write something down and submit this article. Do this via the article suggestion link or email it to me by clicking the envelope in the top corner. I will publish accrediting you with it and the debate can start.

As I say this is something that I would like to see FAR more in the future, as it's too easy for me to cover whatever I want. I'm not looking to take the lazy, or easy route but would like to hear more of YOUR opinions in your own submitted works for us to debate on.

LETS ALL GET INVOLVED! We all have opinions; granted we don't always agree (and why should we!) but let's share them, don't just lurk in the shadows! Read articles and comment as well, joining in the debate both on the home page and within the forum (the forums is SUPERB!)

As I said recently, just think if as little as a quarter of the people registered to this site (we have pushing on for 200) posted AT LEAST one comment per article imagine the debate we could get! Think how this will entice other members into joining in (new and old) with what is a great site and will ONLY (with your help!) get better and better.

Help me to keep Vital Blackburn going strong during the summer months!

We all have opinions so lets keep sharing them. When I take this slight break ANYONE wanting to discuss anything making the news, or their own opinions on things please do, put something together and submit it to me and I'll publish it for you giving you the credit. This site is REALLY, and I mean this starting to kick on again, let's keep the Rovers flag well and truly flying during the summer months!

Looking good HDM... should be a good period for Vital Blackburn. Plenty of Championship Manager style transfer gossip i think...

Yep I reckon and hopefully we'll share this and debate this within the forum and in article suggestions. To be honest I don't want to use too much speculation in front page article but if speculation links us with someone then putting it into a constructed and worthwhile article is certainly something I'll do an ENCOURAGE others to do!

Championship Cost Per Goal So Far In 2016/17

The end of the Championship campaign of 2016/17 is only a month and a bit away from fans across the country but as we go in to the remaining weeks of the campaign...

Positive Signs For Bennett

Bennett was positive of Blackburn being able to see off Lancashire rivals Preston heading into this game at Ewood Park after the Norwich and Fulham results.

Minor Graham Setback

Blackburn had to do without Danny Graham against Preston following the groin problem that forced him off against Fulham last week. He could return against Brighton next week.

Hugely Frustrating

Mowbray admitted Blackburn didn't start the game well against Preston but had then been the dominant side so was 'majorly disappointed' not to record a victory.
