No Walkerbout this Week

Walkerbout, the weekly online Vital Blackburn forum has started to take off but with it being the final day of the season on Sunday it will not take place this week.

Walkerbout takes place between 6pm and 8pm on Sunday Evenings in the forum, for more information click here.

Despite a quiet start to life, Walkerbout, as with anything has taken time to get going, but the continued perseverance with the idea is paying off as recent weeks have seen a decent turnout and some quality debate.

With it being the final day of the season on Sunday Walkerbout will not take place this weekend, but will return next weekend, Sunday 20th May 2007. HOPEFULLY I'll see plenty of you then?!?!

Meanwhile - Read this if NOTHING else the debate with Spurs drew out many people's views. We can NEVER compete with the likes of Spurs etc in terms of fan base in general and in Vital Football terms (I think they have over 2,000 members, we have less than 200, but this was less than 30 when I took over this season!) but lets give it a go!

Whilst I accept we will probably not be seeing posts reaching the high amounts we did when Spurs were involved I would like to hope we will continue to see members posting their thoughts and helping really establish this site?

We all have opinions, granted we don't always agree (and why should we!) but let's share them, don't just lurk in the shadow! Read the articles we produce (and other peoples submitted articles) and comment as well, joining in the debate both on the home page and within the forum.

Just think if as little as a quarter of the people registered to this site posted AT LEAST one comment per article imagine the debate we could get! Think how this will entice other members into joining in (new and old) with what is a great site and will ONLY (with your help!) get better next season and beyond.

This is YOUR site so make the most of it!

As I say JUST think if a quarter of us members (25 or so), maybe as little as 10 of us commented on EVERY article think of the debate we would get, people will see this and WILL want to be a part, so don't just lurk in the background, speak up and make yourself heard, I want to hear what you have to say I know this much!

dazednconfuzed - Thanks for that. I'd say it is, although technically the Yorkshire chat came after Walkerabout, so that is similar to Walkerbout :) LOL. Yeah quite simply it's just an online forum.
