Martin Dahlin Interview Finalised!

Martin Dahlin Interview Finalised!

Vital Blackburn pulled of a MAJOR coup by getting Martin Dahlin to agree to an interview, this has now taken place!

It's taken some months to pull off, and I must admit I had almost given up hope of it coming off but the legendary former Swedish International; without doubt one of the finest players of his generation has taken the time to answer a series of questions for us.

Injury robbed Dahlin of his career at the early age of 29, which also meant we didn't see the best of him in a Rovers shirt, nowhere near! He discusses this as the low in his career as well as the many highs and his hopes and dreams for the future.

It is quite a long interview and still needs to be put together as a final article, but will be published in the coming week, probably broken into two, maybe three parts so keep an eye open for this.

I'm buzzing, couldn't believe it when it final came off after several months of hearing nothing from the great man. Not all answers are overly detailed, but it still gives you an insight into the man and makes for good reading. I look forward to sharing it with you all soon!

Cheers BomBom. He highlights some talented players that are on his books, some I'm sure people have heard of, if not they will do if they are the quality Dahlin seems to think they could be?!?!

It's certainly been a while hasn't it dude, I'd say pushing on for seven months since initial negotiations began, but it was worth it. As they say all good things come to those that wait :) This time last year the thought that I could have spoken to John Williams, been in touch with Tugay (at least his agent), Scotty Sellers and arguably the biggest of the lot (in terms of what he achieved and who he was in European, if not World standing) Martin Dahlin had NEVER even entered my mind. Obviously personal hard work has made this possible hasn't it but THANKS to Vital Football this has been possible.
