Jason Roberts Top Rovers Forward

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked "Forward of the Month for April?" You voted in favour of Jason Roberts.

In a month is which he scored four goals, starting to finally get his season going after injuries and struggles to dislodge others Jason Roberts' monstrous 66% sees him convincingly crowned as the Forward of the Month for April.

After missing out on the overall Player of the Month poll for the first time this season last month, Benni McCarthy's 16% JUST sees him edge out Matt Derbyshire (who gained 14%) to restore order.

Paul Gallagher and Shabani Nonda completed the poll with the final 4%, gaining 2% each.

So in summary
Matt Derbyshire - 14%
Paul Gallagher - 2%
Benni McCarthy - 16%
Shabani Nonda - 2%
Jason Roberts - 66%


The search for April's Player of the Month concludes as the current poll is asks, "Player of the Month for April?"

Well played JR, I ALWAYS knew you would come good, but this is nothing, we're in for a treat next season, but lets enjoy what is left of this! I can see a few more goals this season in the JR & Benni partnership, with cameo's from Derbs, which will hopefully see him into double figures?!?!

yes i agree with this one jr has played well this month he is quick and powerful which helps him get his way passed defenders and also helps him get into the team. if he stays fit then he could be a really good buy for us!
