Players Relegated With Four Sides…

Players Relegated With Four Sides…

My love for facts, stats and trivia lead me to try something different here on Vital Blackburn. On this occasion govtpros (with a little added by myself) gave you a Trivia question to try and answer.

The question asked:
"Which three players have been relegated from the Premiership with four DIFFERENT clubs?"

Nathan Blake:
Sheffield United - 1994
Bolton Wanderers - 1996 & 1998
Blackburn Rovers - 1999
Wolverhampton Wanderers - 2004

Ashley Ward:
Norwich City - 1995
Barnsley - 1998
Blackburn Rovers - 1999
Bradford City - 2001

Nigel Quashie:
Queens Park Rangers - 1996
Nottingham Forest - 1999
Southampton - 2005
West Bromwich Albion - 2006

As a side note Nigel Quashie is in line for a fifth relegation and a much-unwanted hat trick, and an incredible three successive relegations from the Premiership should West Ham United go down this season! This is some (unwanted) achievement!

Congratulations to EvertonMike who was the first to correctly get this.

Do you have any trivia questions you would like to put to everyone? If so contact me via e-mail at this address blackburn@vitalfootball.co.uk and I'll get Vital Football Members pondering over your teaser…

As a bonus TWO players could join Blake, Ward and Quashie (who may go out in front on his own with FIVE!) on four this season, can anyone name these?!?!

How very dare you! Brian Deanes a legend and has now retired thank you very much! Not sure if he ever got relegated with anyone? Maybe Middlesbrough?

OK Mike, hopefully you can think of something to challenge us. Sheringham may have gone down with Forest (not sure his season with them was relegation though?), looks like going down with the Hammered but was there another Premiership side he's gone down with?!?! Cole has never been relegated (from the Premiership anyway) as far as I know. THINK ON PEOPLE :)

Blade is right BomBom not sure Deane went down with one let alone four! Moved to Middlesbrough around 2001/2002 I think, and they had returned to the Premiership by then.

He'd probably gone back to Sheff United for about the tenth time by the time Leeds went. Damien Francis - No, Dailly - No (a few times but not even this season would make it four with different clubs), Thatcher, Gillespie, Jackson - All No.

No he'd gone to Leeds scum by the time we were relegated in 94. And had left Leeds when they were relegated. What about Dion Dublin?

Dublin maybe went down with Coventry but can't think of anyone else he would have gone with? Don't forget we are looking for people who IF they go down from the Premierhsip THIS season they will be going down with their fourth club.
