Rovers Allocated 30,000 Tickets
Blackburn Rovers have been allocated 30,000 tickets for the FA Cup Semi Final with Chelsea.
The tie, taking place at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United on Sunday 15th April kicks off at 4pm. The Rovers faithful will be occupying the East Stand.
30,000 sounds a lot, and judging by most attendances at Ewood Park this season it could be hard for the full allocation to be snapped up but as FA Cup Semi Finals don't come round everyday why shouldn't we sell out, especially as it isn't far for locals to travel. You do have to have some sympathy with the travelling Chelsea fans though don't you.
Tickets are priced at £25-£55 and should be with Rovers next week.
Meanwhile anyone who fancies themselves as a fresher John Motson or an even more energetic Jonathan Pearce could commentate on the match!

Many will claim we'll find it hard to sell out our 30,000 allocation, maybe we will, especially as they won't come cheap. But it would be nice to prove doubters wrong wouldn't it. Although people will probably be saving their money for Wembley :)

LOL - they are usually fake fans - didn't Sky used to do the FanZone? Anyway 30,000 we only sold 20,000 for cardiff a couple of years ago, however, it was the travel that put most people off... perhaps 30,000 won;t be a problem - will also get a few plastic mancs turning up just to oppose Chelsea

I know there is a North/South divide and wages are generally higher here but you will get little or no sympathy from us if you do not sell your allocation at whatever price.
Between 1 January and 30 April we will have sold out/taken our full allocation for the following games which are all over and above the price of our season tickets.
