Pederson: I Don’t Want To Join Spurs

Morten Gamst Pederson has silenced rumours linking him with a move to Spurs by insisting their no better than Blackburn even if their current league positions suggest otherwise.

Tottenham are chasing Champions league football and are ten points ahead of Rovers in the league. However Pederson told Norwegian newspaper VG “I am happy at Blackburn. We are starting to get a good side ourselves. Tottenham are not much better than us.”

These thoughts are echoed by fellow team mate Paul Dickov, who believes Rovers should be chasing Europe this year after an impressive run which has seen them take maximum points over Christmas.

He told the Daily Mail 'The manager has always said we can be a top-10 team and we are eighth now - so why not look to Europe?'
