January PotM Nomination - Graham (Blackburn)

January PotM Nomination - Graham (Blackburn)

The January nominations for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month Award are:

Semi Ajayi (Rotherham United) - central defender
Tall and athletic, the 24-year-old centre-half has eradicated the costly errors which once blighted his game. Outstanding against Blackburn, his pace and distribution are central to a defence which conceded just two goals in the month.

Tom Eaves (Gillingham) - striker
Strong on the ground, powerful in the air, Eaves employed his physicality to good effect in January, leading the Gillingham line as they won all four games and holding off defenders to finish clinically for his four goals.

Danny Graham (Blackburn Rovers) - striker
As Blackburn have surged into form recently, so has Graham with four goals in five games owing much to his poacher`s instinct. Has also impressed in his link-up play with Bradley Dack for whom he set up two goals during January.

John-Joe O'Toole (Northampton Town) - midfielder
A niggling groin injury caused him to miss 24 games this season. Northampton won two of them. With him, they have won seven of 13. Arriving late in the box, he scored a goal in four successive games, including a lovely glancing header at Blackburn.

Winners will be announced on Friday 9th February 2018.
