West Brom Recall Harper

West Brom Recall Harper

Rekeem Harper's time at Blackburn was ended earlier this week when West Brom recalled him from his season-long loan.

Harper, 17, made nine appearances during his time at Ewood Park, but just one of these was a start, back in September - the midfielder wasn't able to force his way ahead of others in Tony Mowbray's thinking.

West Brom, battling against Premier League relegation, have opted to cut short his loan and taken him back to the Hawthorns, at least on a temporary basis before Alan Pardew decides the next course of action for Harper, who could well had another spell elsewhere?

His exit was confirmed on the Official Website when the club said they 'would like to wish Rekeem well for the future.'

We could see an arrival - Mowbray is keen to strengthen the squad - as it has been reported Adam Armstrong could be secured on loan from Newcastle.

Armstrong, who enjoyed a highly profitable spell in League One with Coventry last season, has returned to his parent club as they would like to see him playing a regular role as a central striker, which wasn't the case at our rivals but reportedly would be at Ewood.
