Officials - Blackburn v Scunthorpe (30/12/17)

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Blackburn Rovers and Scunthorpe United this Saturday.

Blackburn Rovers host Scunthorpe United on Saturday December 30 for the game at Ewood Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Andy Haines
Assistant Refs: Steven Rushton and Wayne Grunnill
Fourth Official: Andrew Miller

Match Day referee Haines has officiated 23 games in 2017/18, showing 70 yellow cards and four red cards already.

He took in 37 games in 2016/17 with a return of 113 yellow cards and five red cards.

His highest card count this season was seven yellows in the game between Bradford City and Bristol Rovers.

He took in 27 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 86 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Oldham and Swindon in April with a total of nine yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
