Officials - Peterborough v Blackburn (9/12/17)

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Peterborough United and Blackburn Rovers this Saturday.

Peterborough United host Blackburn Rovers on Saturday December 9 for the game at London Road and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Nicholas Kinseley
Assistant Refs: John Farries and Paul Yates
Fourth Official: Ian Dudley

Match Day referee Kinseley has officiated 15 games in 2017/18, showing 58 yellow cards and three red cards so far.

He took in 31 games in 2016/17 with a return of 113 yellow cards and six red cards.

His highest card count that year was 13 yellow cards in the Crawley Town v Newport County match. He also showed ten yellows in the game between Stevenage and Carlisle United.

He took in 28 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 70 yellow cards and nine red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Plymouth and Accrington Stanley on October 17 with a total of six yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.

Irish Eyes Are Smiling

Blackburn`s game against Doncaster had already been called off. If it hadn`t, it definitely would with the Republic of Ireland`s decision to include two defenders in the final squad.

No Tippy-Tappy Performer

Bradley Dack has proven plenty of ability on the ball and has a keen eye for a goal, but the former Gillingham man has also show he's physically able and willing to get stuck in.

Modest Marksman

You'll not find many who haven't been impressed by Armstrong since he came to Blackburn. The on-loan Newcastle forwards goalscoring exploits speak for themselves.

Different Date Same Outcome

International call ups for Leutwiler, Mulgrew and Evans, along with provisional calls for Lenihan and Williams mean the trip to Doncaster has changed, the hoped outcome wouldn't.
