Dack Ready For A Run

Dack Ready For A Run

At least Bradley Dack is hopeful of being ready for a run in the Blackburn first team.

Dack has endured a frustrating start to his Blackburn career since arriving from Gillingham in the summer, suffering a niggling hamstring strain, which has limited his involvement.

The midfielder has made substitute appearances against Rochdale, Scunthorpe and most recently Wimbledon, in Saturday's defeat at Ewood Park, when Dack got an hour under his belt.

He's now hopeful, confessing his frustration at the stop-start nature to his Rovers career, of a start against Shrewsbury on Saturday.

'It has been a little bit frustrating with the niggles picked up with my hamstring. But hopefully the problem is now all sorted, I've had a couple of weeks rehab on it and I'm feeling ready to start, Dack told the Official Website.

Adding: 'I had a full pre-season under my belt and didn't pick up anything and then you go into the first game and you just feel it a little bit. I managed to get back but then I felt it again so it was frustrating. But now the problem is all sorted, so hopefully I can kick on now.'

The attacking midfielder had every chance of achieving his aim as Blackburn look to build a winning run again against the early League One leaders.

Meanwhile, Tony Mowbray, further reflecting on the Wimbledon defeat, knows Rovers will face similar afternoons to that faced at Ewood when we'll be frustrated so finding a way to break down these sides will be needed.

The boss told the Official Website: 'We're going to face that a lot this season.'

'That is something that the team have to learn. That is why we have to keep working at it. They have shown over the last couple of weeks how hard to beat they can be, and how difficult they make it for other teams. But when another team did that to us we didn't have the guile to break them down.'
