Officials - Scunthorpe v Blackburn (12/9/17)

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Scunthorpe United and Blackburn Rovers this Tuesday.

Blackburn Rovers travel to Scunthorpe United on Tuesday September 12 for the game at Glanford Park and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Sebastian Stockbridge
Assistant Refs: Paul Thompson and Gareth Mellor
Fourth Official: Michael Denton

Match Day referee Stockbridge has officiated five games in 2017/18, showing 12 yellow cards.

He took in 41 games in 2016/17 with a return of 161 yellow cards and nine red cards.

His highest card count that season was eight yellows in the game between MK Dons and Port Vale.

He took in 30 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 102 yellow cards and six red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Scunthorpe and Bury in April where he showed six yellow cards with one red.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
