Next Up - Coventry City (The Ricoh Arena)

The next Blackburn match of the season will be the Carabao Cup First Round tie against Coventry City at The Ricoh Arena on Tuesday. We'll have a Match Preview nearer the time, however, for now it's over to you!!

Saturday's start to the Sky Bet League One season didn't exactly go according to plan as Rovers were beaten at Southend United. There's a quick chance to react as Tony Mowbray returns to his former club Coventry for this Carabao Cup match.

As Coventry were relegated from League One last season Rovers will be even more fancied and as much as promotion is the priority this isn't a cup-tie Mowbray's going to be keen to lose, particularly as it's against his former club the Sky Blues.

Much like Saturday afternoon (in many ways) Rovers will be seen as favourites (strong favourites in this case), however, being favourites doesn't assure a victory but it'll be wanted at The Ricoh.

Will we achieve this??
