Reading Forward Samuel Linked

The forward Tony Mowbray is confident will link up with Blackburn is Austria could be Dominic Samuel.

According to the Coventry Telegraph, citing social media claims, Blackburn have made a £500,000 offer for Samuel to Reading.

Mowbray and Samuel do have previous as they worked together at Coventry during the Blackburn boss' spell in charge at the Ricoh Arena.

The forward was actually signed by Steven Pressley but he was soon sacked, which saw Mowbray get the best out of the Samuel, who would look to do the same at Ewood Park should this deal be confirmed?

Samuel, 23, has also been linked with Barnsley and Ipswich - where he was on loan last season - but Blackburn have been able to 'out bid' the Championship duo.

During his 2014-15 loan at Coventry, from January 2015 onwards, Samuel scored six goals in his 13 appearances for the Sky Blues.
