Admiral Set For Rovers Return?

Mark Hughes has hinted that maybe Ryan Nelsen could make his Blackburn Rovers return as early as tomorrow afternoon when we visit Luton Town in the FA Cup.

I knew the Admiral was nearing a return and thought this could happen against Chelsea next week, but feared even that could prove too soon thinking Sheffield United next weekend would be more realistic but there is a chance he could return when we face Mike Newell's Luton tomorrow!

After coming through several matches in the last week or so and coming through 70 minutes plus of Wednesday's reserve game with Bolton Wanderers Hughes has hinted at a possible return, he said:

"We'll look at Ryan. He came through the reserve game in midweek, had seventy odd minutes. We've been building him up gradually and we'll see how he is today, and if possible there is a chance to try Ryan out in this game."

What a boost this would be at the end of a couple of torrid week's worth of injury set backs. If Sparky and the Admiral feel a return is possible and it isn't too soon it would be great to see him have a run out tomorrow!

What a boost if he returns, you fear it could be too soon but if it was neither would take a risk. Still think it is unlikely but you never know??? If he does this ends the captain's armband debate doesn't it!

If you think you have injury problems take a look at Luton's. The tea lady is in the squad!

There striker is actually very good. He's called Adam Boyd and he's very handy so whoever is marking him better be on their toes. However if we play like we did in the lasy round then we'll have no trouble!!!

GOD!!!!

Luton's injury problems must be bad then! Luton will give us a game I'm sure, if God is in the backline he'll keep anyone quiet.

My turn next time just for reference.

how about Nelsen is.....BACK! thats more important! Im looking forawrd to this, not least cos i have the honour of knocking up the post match review in James' absense but with Newell in the mix and the David-goliath connotations, its gonna be fun.

Touche BomBom! The honour is ours BomBom, enjoy it I'm sure you will as I'm sure we will.

Well we got the unexpected return Sparky had hinted at! A solid 70 minutes was a welcome bonus to a torid couple of weeks. I'm very much liking what I'm seeing of Henchoz recently. he's been very impressive.
