Round Four Down South for Rovers

After the demolition of Everton, Rovers fans were keen for a comfortable home fixture or the glitz and glamour of a prestigious fixture that would match their 3rd Round result. However, it will be an away day at either Loftus Road or Kenilworth Road depending on who slogs it through in the replay between two of the Championship`s glamour clubs, Q.P.R and Luton Town.

Sentiment will see Rovers fans cheering on Mike Newell`s Luton whilst the opportunists amongst us will be hoping for Q.P.R. Regardless of who wins it will be a tough away fixture.

We saw the kind of display that Luton are capable of against Liverpool last season, although with David Bentley in the mood to shoot from anywhere these days there is every chance of a repeat of Xabi Alonso`s goal.

It will certainly be a fixture (either side) that Rovers will fancy their chances in.

They say there is little room for sentiment in the game of football, Mike Newell will certainly vouch for that, but it would be nice for Rovers` first million pound signing and firm fans favourite to come up against his former side as a manager. He will be doing everything to rouse his players for the replay to ensure such a fixture is realised.

Here is the full draw:
Arsenal v Bolton
West Ham v Watford
Bristol City or Coventry City v Hull City or Middlesbrough
Chelsea v Nottingham Forest
Chester City or Ipswich Town v Swansea
Cardiff City or Tottenham v Southend Utd or Barnsley
Barnet or Colchester v Peterborough or Plymouth Argyle
Birmingham City or Newcastle United v Reading or Burnley
Derby County v Bristol Rovers
Sheffield Wednesday or Manchester City v Southampton
Crystal Palace v Preston North End
Manchester United v Portsmouth
Blackpool v Norwich City
Queens Park Rangers or Luton Town v Blackburn Rovers
Wolverhampton Wanderers or Oldham v WBA
Leicester City or Fulham v Stoke City
The ties will be played on Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January.

Newelly has got Luton playing some good stuff so it'll be a tough game (providing they beat QPR of course!) I think we will beat either, hope it's Luton though as I am the sentimental type.
Hughes Da Man
i'd love to see Newell back at Ewood as im a big fan of his and his style of play, as it was me that nominated him as potential replacemant for Hughes should he decide to leave in the very much distant future. Either team im confident of getting through but Newell's being with Luton adds a little something to wot would be a great cup game
