'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Let's See More of Sergio Peter

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll, inspired by Wellsy asked "Sergio Peter - lightweight or the real deal?" Unsurprisingly we would like to see more.

The worst kept secret surrounding Blackburn Rovers Football Club has been let out of the bag once and for all thanks to our latest poll!

68% believe that Sergio Peter has something about him so they would like to see more of him (as would I), 20% are not so convinced as they think he is lightweight whilst the final 12% think he works hard but not much else.

So in summary
Lightweight - 20%
Works hard but that's it - 12%
Looks to have something - I want to see more - 68%

With the "Axe" Aaron Mokoena often labelled a Jack of all trades, master of none the current poll is asking, "What is Aaron Mokoena's best position?"

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…

I'm totally for Peter getting a run but it looks unlikely that Sparky will give him this doesn't it? Morten Gamst Pedersen will always be the first pick out of the two when fit won't he.

Quite right...at best number two to the mighty Morten!

with the Mokoena poll i voted for the def midfielder but have seen him play for S.Africa at centreback and he was very good, but yet to see him there fro Blackburn
Clint
#2 to MGP at the moment because he's not really getting much of a look in really. It's great to have two quality left-sided players, hopefully both will stay at Ewood for the long-term.
Hughes Da Man
I've seen the Axe play all over the shop and to be honest he rarely lets club or country down wherever he plays. Maybe not the most technically gifte player but he ALWAYS gives his all and plays to his limitations.
Hughes Da Man
The Axe is okay for me - a few disappointing performances recently but on the whole he'll get to 90% of any headers that come into the centre.
Ex Ewood Resident
I think why not play Peter, Pederson is the 1st choice as everyone knows but u have to mix it up, teams learn how to play against certain players, Pederson does not get by his man - Peter can, although Pederson has a better shot and cross ( i think ) so its all about mixing it up for me, using a different players in certain matches can be good for the team, a little competition as well
Clint
Peter is certainly quicker and can beat his man better, MGP rarely beats a man anymore and certainly has no pace. Maybe somewhere down the line Peter could be converted into a left-back (similar to Emerton on the left) as Peter and MGP combined could be something else!?!?
Hughes Da Man
Thats a very good idea and why not?? If it meant him getting in the team but then where would all the young left backs go - McElvey, Tatlor and Olsson??
Clint
It's another possibility I guess. But thats also a good point Clint. Olsson is still only what 18 though isn't he, Taylor is one I would like to see as for McEveley I think his best position may yet be central defence?
Hughes Da Man
I think ur rite there, he's a big lad is Jay so why not, I think Taylor has a very big future ahead of him, lets hope its with Rovers!!
Clint
Totally, lets keep our fingers crossed on this one Clint.
