Rovers Cup Victories Came Against…

My love for facts, stats and trivia lead me to try something different here on Vital Blackburn. On this occasion govtpros gave you a Trivia question to try and answer.

The question asked:
"In the 19th Century Blackburn Rovers Football Club won 5 FA Cups. Name the opposition and score lines?"

Rovers have a rich history in the FA Cup being on of only two club to win three successive FA Cup's, the other being Bolton Wanderers.

The five FA Cup victories Rovers had in the 19th century were as follows:

1884 - 2-1 verses Queens Park (Glasgow)
1885 - 2-0 verses Queens Park (Glasgow)
1886 - 2-0 verses West Bromwich Albion (in a replay after a 0-0 draw)
1890 - 6-1 verses Sheffield Wednesday
1891 - 3-1 verses Notts County

Congratulations to vital member sasman who was the first to correctly get this.

Do you have any trivia questions you would like to put to everyone? If so contact me via the e-mail link or place your questions below and Ill get Vital Football Members pondering over your teaser…
