Fans Want Beckham…If We Can Get Him!

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll (suggested by marshinrover) asked "If we can do you think we should sign David Beckham in January?" You say YES!

The former England captain is being linked to just about every club (outside of the big 4!) in the Premiership so marshinrover's poll merely asked would you like him if we can get him? It was kept nice and simple, Yes or No.

78% say yes.

I still see it unlikely that Rovers will be Beckham's destination should he even leave Real Madrid in January, but if he does then you never know, the majority would certainly like to see this happen.

So in summary
Yes - 78%
No - 22%


After the recent FA Cup third round draw saw us paired with a Premiership rival the current poll is asking, "Is Everton a good FA Cup draw for Rovers?"

As unlikely as it is to happen I have to admit that I voted for Yes! I was anti Beckham at the World Cup was calling for his exclusion from the team at times as was really angry he was being kept in due to delivery alone (sound fimilar with any current Rovers player!) but if he came to Rovers this would be some boost for the club and the area.

With his £80 odd million fortune is money really an issue for Becks anymore? Stranger things have happened than Posh and Becks pitching up with Rovers.

Football League - Fixture Day & 2017/18 Key Dates

The Football League have released the key dates for the coming 2017/18 season, and the all important fixtures will be released on Wednesday June 21 at 9am.
