Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll continued the search for the "Greatest Ever Rovers Squad - Left-backs" Two men have been voted in.
The men voted into the Greatest Ever Rovers Squad as the two left-backs were Graeme Le Saux (40%) and (maybe somewhat surprisingly?) Stig Inge Bjornebye (25%). Somewhere down the line we will be voting one of these into the Greatest Ever Starting XI.
Unfortunately Keith Newton (17%), William Eckersley (8%), John Bailey (6%) and Alan Wright (4%) missed out.
Congratulations to Le Saux and Bjornebye for their induction into our squad.
So in summary
John Bailey - 6%
Stig Inge Bjornebye - 25%
William Eckersley - 8%
Graeme Le Saux - 40%
Keith Newton - 17%
Alan Wright - 4%
The David Beckham link has hushed down a bit but following arguments for and against his signing, after we had a mini debate the current poll (Suggested by marshinrover) is quite simply a "Yes" or "No" response asking, "If we can do you think we should sign David Beckham in January?"
As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings…
