Rovers In & Out Tips - Update!

Recently vital Blackburn member marshinrover gave his opinions on the transfers he feels Blackburn Rovers could, or should make in January… he's now made a few additions!

In
GOAL:
None

DEFENCE:
Wael Gomaa, 31-year-old. Has had a gentlemen's agreement with Mark Hughes that he will join Rovers in the January transfer window.

Stephen Warnock, 26-year-old. Has been linked with a swap move plus cash for Lucas Neill.

NEW ADDITION - Wayne Bridge, 26-year-old. Has been rumoured to want an exit from Chelsea. With Blackburn in possible need of a left-back if Gray re-join's Leeds Mark Hughes said he would possibly try and bring Bridge to Ewood.
Since writing this Bridge has signed a new contract at Stamford Bridge so with this in mind I'm sure marshin would have removed him!

MIDFIELD:
Jason Koumas, 28-year-old. Mark Hughes has been keen on the Welshman since he said he wanted to leave and re-join Cardiff, but Cardiff weren't willing to pay the amount that West Bromwich Albion wanted. Hughes recently has sent out a scout to keep tabs on him.

David Dunn, 27-year-old. Has admitted that if the chance to rejoin Blackburn came along he would take with both hands.

ATTACK:
Amr Zaki, 24-year-old. Says, "It would be a dream come true if I would join the premiership." With Blackburn leading the chase for the young Egyptian it could work out for him.

NEW ADDITION - Yiannakis Okkas, 29-year-old. The Cypriot International striker is said to be coming for a medical in December. Blackburn are going to have to battle with others for him.
Again since writing this a trial has been agreed so Okkas will link up with the club in December ahead of a possible move?

Out
GOAL:
NEW ADDITION - Peter Enckelman, 29-year-old. Is rumoured to have said "I like it her at Blackburn, but as Brad is a world class keeper and now Jason is here I'm a 3rd choice. So I might look for a fresh start at a different club maybe."

DEFENCE:
Andy Todd 32-year-old. May leave in January due to lack of games. He has been linked with Southampton.

Dominic Matteo 32-year-old. May leave in January due to lack of games. He has been linked with Leeds United.

Michael Gray 32-year-old. May leave in January due to lack of games. He has been linked with Leeds United.

Wayne Bridge was never likely to arrive at Ewood in my opinion, even less so with him signing a new deal. He'd obviously rather pick up the money and not play than play football! Not sure on Okkas. Can see why Enckelmanwould want to leave. Even though he said he doesn't want to leave I can still see Koumas going and would like him to arrive. Mickey Gray HAS to stay!

Koumas would be an interesting signing, providing depth and competition in the midfield. Gray should be kept, but we should buy cover, and okkas, never heard of him before but has a good scoring record, then again so does nonda but who knows i guess. At the moment we just need some cover, we have the quality

with wayne brodge signing a new deal i carnt see that happening any more Okkas wil join in January i no that Koumas would be a good signing yes! Gray wont leave. Amr Zaki would be another Great signing aswell but i carnt see it happening i think david dunn will join aswell gomaa will and im not to sure on warnock i think enckelman might leave but there hasnt been any other clubs linked with him yet but todd and matteo can go.

I'd like to see Dunn back as he never wanted to leave anyay!! Koumas would be good buy too, good free kicks - take the pressure off Hughes to give this to Pederson all the time. Okkas dont know anything about him. Bridge never coming now, Warnock is a possibilty as he down the pecking order at Liverpool, Gomaa will have to be seen but Hughes picked Nelsen in the same way. Enckelman is a cert to leave, I actually thought he was older than stated but you can see why he'd move on. Gray can go, I personnely dont rate him that highly and would like to see McElevely get his chance,Have heard a rumour that Hughes was interested in Beckham but I dont see how this would ever come about, more to do with wages than anything else as I believe Hughes could get him in otherwise
Clint
We'd maybe have a better chance with Beckham than people think. But as someone else once said the increased crownd and merchandise revenue will pay most his wages.
Hughes Da Man
Well thats true and we are in Europe and would give him the chance to play reg football, only thing is where, do we move Bentley who has finally settled into the rite wing or give Beckham the central midfield role he wants, then does he play with Savage or Tugay?? More than likey Savage, as he tackles better
