Andre Ooijer Top Rovers Defender

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked "Defender/Keeper of the Month for November?" You voted in favour of Andre Ooijer.

After struggling to come to terms with the Premiership in his early games Andre Ooijer's quality has shown in recent times, the fact that he's been voted Defender of the Month for November with 55% proves testament to this.

Joining Ooijer in the overall final to determine the Player of the Month shortly is goalkeeper Brad Friedel with 22%.

A previous Player of the Month winner Brett Emerton finished with 19%, Zurab Khizinashvilli and Lucas Neill 2% each with Michael Gray failing to register, ending with 0%.

A fitting winner had a very good month, his best month in a Rovers shirt for sure. Let's hope we have plenty more to come!

Amazing how he's turned it round, only a few weeks ago and fans were questioning his ability to adapt to the premiership.

well he has been great since hes been here woth out the penos he has had given against him and his own gaol but apart from them he has been a good defender

Even some of his penalties given away have been unfortunate to say the least. As for his own goal, not really too much blame can be given can it?
