Greatest Three Goalkeepers Selected

Greatest Three Goalkeepers Selected

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll started the search for the "Great Ever Rovers Squad - Goalkeepers" and three men have been voted in.

The men voted into the Greatest Ever Rovers Squad as the three Goalkeepers were Bobby Mimms (41%), Brad Friedel (27%) and Tim Flowers (17%). Somewhere down the line we will be voting one of these into the Greatest Ever Starting XI.

Unfortunately Jim Arnold (6%), Reg Elvy (5%) and Terry Gennoe (4%) missed out.

So in summary
Jim Arnold - 6%
Reg Elvy - 5%
Tim Flowers - 17%
Brad Friedel - 27%
Terry Gennoe - 4%
Bobby Mimms - 41%

In the wake of one of the controversial calls in the Rovers - Tottenham match the was it or wasn't it a handball is at the centre of the current poll, which is asking, "Mido - Handball or Not?"

I've called for people to vote honestly and hopefully they will! I know which way I'll be voting and this will be revealed when the poll ends!

As for what you think, cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findingsā€¦

Well the three men selected are the right ones in my opinion, not sure about Mimms gaining 41% though? The man in the image Jason Brown could very well one day go down in history with these guys!

Only 17% also surprised me a little, but hey he gets into the squad which is the main thing, the real test will come when the three go head to head for the mantel of NUMBER ONE!

Blackburn Confirm Caddis Arrival

Caddis, who left Bury at the end of a short deal, was given his chance due to his previous with Blackburn boss Mowbray at Celtic. But the ex-Birmingham full back has secured a deal.

Samuel Signing Sealed

Blackburn have signed Reading forward Dominic Samuel, who once worked with Mowbray at Coventry - also loaned to Colchester, Dagenham and Gillingham, ending last season at Ipswich.

Just Saying, But What If....

Blackburn will do well under the boss. However, for arguments sake, if Rovers didn't secure an instant Championship return what would happen to Mowbray?

Caddis At The Double

Caddis has now spent the past three weeks with Blackburn, joining the club in Austria last week, and Mowbray, his boss at Celtic earlier in his career, is close to making his decision.
