Great Ever Rovers Squad: Goalkeepers

Great Ever Rovers Squad: Goalkeepers

At Vital Blackburn we are trying to put together our Greatest Ever Blackburn Rovers Squad. The three goalkeepers have now been selected.

The names had been suggested and the votes cast. With the option of these six legendary Rovers Goalkeepers…

Jim Arnold
Reg Elvy
Tim Flowers
Brad Friedel
Terry Gennoe
Bobby Mimms

You have voted Tim Flowers (17%), Brad Friedel (27%) and Bobby Mimms (41%) into the Greatest Ever Squad.

Unfortunately Jim Arnold (6%), Reg Elvy (5%) and Terry Gennoe (4%) miss out this time!

Remember the squad can be changed down the line at your request. Simply suggest the player you feel should come out (and why?) along with the man you feel should come in (and again why?) and it will be put to the vote!

Just to recap this squad will comprise of the following:

3 Goalkeepers

2 Left-backs (or Wing-backs)
2 Right-backs (or Wing-backs)
4 Centre-backs

2 Left-midfielders (or Wingers)
2 Right-midfielders (or Wingers)
4 Central Midfielders

4 Forwards

Next up for selection will be left backs (or wing-backs) so look out for these soon!

Congratulations to goalkeepers Flowers, Friedel and Mimms for their induction into our Greatest Ever Squad. These players were voted in by you the Vital Blackburn members so what do you think?

Three quality names. Friedel and Flowers had to be certainties for me. Mimms probably would have also got my vote so I'm happy with all three selected.
