Sir Alex Ferguson Also Rates Tugay

Opposing fans may not like Blackburn Rovers midfielder Tugay (probably due to the threat they know he offers!) but Mark Hughes has revealed Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is very much an admirer.

The veteran Turk is defying his 36-years with his continued fine performances, the latest coming against United last weekend.

Hughes very much believes that Tugay could still do a job for any team anywhere and Fergie more than agrees according to Hughes:

"I spoke to Sir Alex about him after the game and he was commenting on what a good player Tugay is," said Hughes.

"I told him that if Tugay was 10 years younger he'd be playing for United and Alex agreed.

"Given his ability he could play for anyone in The Premiership or even world football.

"He's a one-off. He's creative and a different type of player to the holding player most teams employ."

If Sir Alex rates him that'll do me, you don't get many greater authorities than him! I don't really need to add anything more to this do I…

If he's good enough for Sir Alex he must be good! WHAT a goal from the maestro once again, shame the officials ruined what would have been a Man of the Match performance with a needless red card, maybe this will be reviewed?
