Rhodes Praised

Rhodes Praised

Blackburn Rovers (I think we've got to remain open minded) could still end up selling Jordan Rhodes, however, as things stand we're standing firm in our stance that he's staying.

Hull City continue to be linked with Rhodes but our public (and hopefully private) view is that he's not for sale. Gary Bowyer knows that Rhodes had endured a difficult few days but the Rovers Manager was quick to praise him for his goalscoring contribution in the win over AFC Bournemouth on Saturday.

Speaking to Radio Rovers after the game Bowyer said: "I'm delighted for Jordan Rhodes, for all the speculation and everything, to go out and score the goal he did, magnificent.

"He made it himself, it was a fantastic goal. He's a credit after what he has gone through. He's handled it superbly, we are delighted with him.
"

What a way to celebrate your one-hundredth performance!! He wasn't playing like a footballer that wants to leave Ewood Park was he, and didn't celebrate like a player wanted this either.

Here's to the next hundred appearances!!

JR - Biggest mistake of your like... and when the goals dry up or injury comes calling.... you will wonder what if??? Would I have been good enough in the Prem League.... this shows that you are not up for it and doubt your ability at the top level.... not worth 5 let alone 12 Million.... enjoy the games in the second tier, guess you just cant cut the mustard....

Germany Tiger, you're basically saying that you feel the goals will dry up and injury will come calling?? In that case why would you want him at Hull anyway?? You're right, he's not worth £5million and he's not worth the £8million to £10million you offered!! He's not even worth £12million as he's worth more, that's why you haven't got him. I can smell sour grapes dude!!
