Uncertainty Between The Sticks

Uncertainty Between The Sticks

It seems that plenty of Blackburn Rovers supporter's have concerns with the goalkeepers at Ewood Park?? Seemingly Gary Bowyer might as well!!

In my honest opinion I'm not really concerned with our goalkeepers as we've got a former England International in Paul Robinson (who I still have complete faith in), and a talented younger goalkeeper in Jake Kean and that in itself would be enough for most clubs, however, the confidence on Kean could be in question??

After them we've got Simon Eastwood, he's the one that I'm really not sure about at all and wouldn't really want Rovers to have to rely on him too much (sorry dude!!)

Recently we've taken a look at Jamie Ashdown (who was a Free Agent after leaving Leeds United at the end of his contract) but he moved on earlier this week but now we know that Benin International Fabien Farnolle has been training at Brockhall this week.

An International team-mate of Rovers striker Rudy Gestede the 29-year-old former Bordeaux goalkeeper stands at an impressive six foot five inches in height and has spent the last four-years with Clermont in France, they play in Ligue 2.

Bowyer's got concerns if he's looking at another goalkeeper even though we have three in place already. If we do sign another (Farnolle or otherwise) perhaps it would be the perfect time to send Kean out on loan and I'd be surprised if we didn't, which I think we could well do this season anyway.
