McCarthy also completes Hat Trick!

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked you "Forward of the Month for October?"

With David Bentley earlier in the week completing his hat trick by being voted top midfielder for three successive months Benni McCarthy has followed suit by being named the top forward for the third month running. McCarthy, also for the third month running has done so with a convincing win, gaining 74% of the votes.

McCarthy's closest rival with 14% is the on loan Shabani Nonda, who finishes runner up to McCarthy for the second month running.

Francis Jeffers and Jason Roberts gained 5% of the vote each with Paul Gallagher gaining the final 2%

So in summary
Benni McCarthy - 74%
Francis Jeffers - 5%
Paul Gallagher - 2%
Jason Roberts - 5%
Shabani Nonda - 14%

So as the search for October's Player of the Month draws to a close the current poll is asking, "Player of the Month for October?"

Who will win the battle between Lucas Neill, Brett Emerton, David Bentley, Tugay, Benni McCarthy and Shabani Nonda in the overall vote to determine October's Player of the Month? You decide so cast your vote and why not have your say on the latest polls findings...

McCarthy ran away with the striker poll and it was well deserved, he has settled well which just shows his quality!! As for the best player overall it has to be Tugay, his performances in the UFEA cup have been brillant to say the least and to think he is 36, great stuff

McCarthy will run away with every months forward poll I think. Tugay gets my vote HOPEFULLY he'll get it, but not sure he will.

well McCarthy is the best forward we have had in years - as i said before we're lucky to have such talent

We certainly are marshinrover. He works VERY hard but I sometimes wish that he'd stay more upfront rather than dropping too deep.
