Rovers release retained list

Rovers release retained list

Rovers have this morning released their retained list for the new season with a host of youth team players (including once tipped for big things Ryan Edwards) missing out on new deals.

His youth team stable mate Jack O'Connell has been retained however.

Players out of contract who are staying -

• Bradley Bauress (Scholar)
• Kellen Daly
• Devarn Green (Scholar)
• Darragh Lenihan
• Jack O`Connell
• John O`Sullivan

Players who are not being retained by Rovers -

• Jordan Anderson (Scholar)
• William Beesley
• Thomas Brown (Scholar)
• William Butterwick (Scholar)
• Robbie Cotton
• Ryan Edwards
• Hugo Fernandez Molina
• Callum Harris (Scholar)
• Thomas Paul (Scholar)
• Timothy Payne
• Deniz Pero
• Yeray Torres Martinez (Scholar)
• Aaron Tumwa
• Matthew Urwin
• Ian Vicars (Scholar)
• Brice Wassi (Scholar)

Rovers do only have two players out of contract from the first team ranks, with club stalwart David Dunn and Markus Olsson both now eligible to discuss terms with other clubs if they so wish - but it is known that Dunn is very keen to remain at Ewood Park.
